Santa’s Grotto

Come and see Santa in his animated & vocally entertaining grotto. He will be there daily from 10:30h to 16:00h. Sparkle, glitter and lights to wow the little ones.

There is a small entry fee of £4 per child which pays for a gift and helps the local Rotary Club provide charitable services to our local community.

Torquay’s Christmas Carnival set to return to town

torquay-christmas-carnivalTorquays’s Christmas parade and carnival will take place on Saturday, November 19, it has been confirmed.
The festive procession through the town centre made a successful return last year after a five-year absence.
It is once again being organised by the Bay’s ‘Mr Christmas’ Steve Holdup, from Torbay Display, and Torbay Carnival director Mike Bailey.

Mr Holdup has confirmed that they have secured at least three big floats from Bridgwater, as well as carnival queens and many local groups.
The procession will meet at Lymington Road coach station at 4.45pm before travelling through Torre, Union Street, Fleet Street and around the harbourside, finishing by Torquay Pavilion.

“The work of so many that helped make it happen was rewarded with the enthusiasm of the crowds.
“Having spent many years making it all happen at Christmas, and with the resounding success of last year’s showpiece carnival, we had the public contacting us asking to repeat this spectacular event.
